The non-hotel accommodation facilities are:
a) Hostels;
Hostels are accommodation facilities that offer hospitality in shared rooms for overnight stays and secondarily in one or two bed rooms with the possibility of using a common kitchen, within the limits and with the characteristics defined by the implementing provisions.
b) Alpine and hiking shelters;
1. Alpine huts are accommodation facilities that offer hospitality in areas conducive to excursions, located at an altitude of over 1,000 meters above sea level and not reachable by motorized means, subject to specific municipal permits.
2. Hiking huts are accommodation facilities that offer hospitality in areas suitable for excursions, situated at an altitude between 600 meters and 1,000 meters above sea level and not reachable by motorized means, subject to specific municipal permits.
c) Guesthouses;
Guesthouses are hospitality establishments that offer accommodations in no more than six housing units located in one or two residential buildings situated in the same structure or in buildings located less than 150 meters away by pedestrian path.

Vacation homes are accommodation structures that offer hospitality in shared spaces for overnight stays and, on a residual basis, in one or two-bed rooms, within the limits and with the characteristics defined by the implementing provisions, managed by:
1) municipalities, for resident citizens involved in socially relevant activities and for employees and their family members;
2) non-profit organizations for the benefit of members to achieve social, cultural, welfare, religious, and sports objectives;
3) other public entities or companies exclusively for employees and their family members.
g) Agritourism;
Agritourism is the offering of hospitality (accommodation, dining, tasting, and other activities) by a farm that, by adapting its facilities, has obtained a specific municipal authorization to carry out agritourism activities.
h) Fish tourism (ittiturismo)
A form of tourism connected to staying in fishermen's homes and offering dining services based on typical seafood cuisine.
