The Municipality of Riomaggiore, Monterosso and Vernazza have approved from 2015 the institution of the tourist tax.

In Vernazza the Tourist Tax is in force throughout the year consists of the payment of € 3,00 per night per person for the first three (3) nights of stay.

Children under the age of 11, guides and drivers of groups staying in the municipality are exempt from paying the Tourist Tax.

The tourist tax was introduced following the reform of fiscal federalism.
