Corniglia

challenging to reach. Visitors must ascend the Lardarina staircase,
which consists of 382 steps, or alternatively, they may take a shuttle
bus from the train station.
Once in the village, the terrain is
relatively level.
Surrounded by vineyards and stone terraces, Corniglia offers a more
authentic atmosphere due to its size and limited accessibility,
resulting in fewer tourists.
While there are bars and restaurants
available, the village lacks a vibrant nightlife. Corniglia is
particularly suited for hikers and nature enthusiasts.

locations to witness the sunset in Cinque Terre is the terrace and bar
La Terza Terra, located at the end of the main street.

must descend to the rocky beach, which takes approximately 10 minutes

The path from Corniglia to Manarola is renowned as one of the most
picturesque trails within the National Park. This route is considerably
challenging and may not be suitable for those who are unfit or timid.
The initial segment of the hike involves a steep ascent, followed by a
journey through a beautiful forest and terraced vineyards that cling to
the mountainside.
Unlike the Blue trail, this hiking path is entirely
free of charge.
Parking in Corniglia
If you intend to reach Corniglia by car, it is advisable to book
accommodation that offers complimentary private parking. The
availability of public parking spaces within the village is quite
limited. There is a single parking facility located 500 meters from the
village entrance, which accommodates approximately 60 vehicles. The
parking fees are as follows: 2.50 euros per hour, 20 euros for 24 hours,
35 euros for 2 days, 50 euros for 3 days, 65 euros for 4 days, 80 euros
for 5 days, 100 euros for 6 days, and 120 euros for 7 days.
